These are the required steps to use NIM in your disaster recovery procedure.
= Create Mksysb Image =
* Check network and DNS requirements for your host / network
* Host needs A and PTR records
* Check storage NIM server
* The NIM server needs at least the amount of space of the rootvg of the host
* Create nim client

These are the steps for a test, so you create an entire new client for testing purposes. In this case we restore to a LPAR in an IVM. Before starting, determine a host name and IP address what can be used.
